Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Services Manager to support and lead practice management services for a select group of clients. This fully remote, client-facing role blends tactical accounting execution with strategic financial analysis. You’ll serve as the key finance liaison, helping clients understand their financial results and drive better decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll processing, and TPT compliance
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to clients, providing strategic insights into financial performance and trends
- Manage revenue recognition processes, preferably within medical or healthcare practice settings
- Compile, analyze, and maintain financial records and reports across a diverse client portfolio
- Engage directly with business owners and executives, acting as their primary financial point of contact
- Work with accounting and data tools including QuickBooks (required), with experience in NetSuite, Excel, and Tableau considered a plus
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Excellent communication skills, with a background in client-facing roles
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required; familiarity with NetSuite and Tableau is advantageous
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Excel and Microsoft Word
- CPA certification and prior public accounting experience are beneficial but not mandatory
- Experience handling payroll processes is preferred
