Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Health Network Compliance and Privacy programs.
• Lead and supervise a team of 12, including Network Partner Compliance and Privacy Officers, the Compliance and Privacy Manager, and the Compliance Supervisor, while providing guidance to Privacy Analysts, Compliance Specialists, and Privacy Auditors.
• Ensure organizational adherence to compliance and privacy regulations, proactively addressing gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex compliance and privacy matters, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
• Report directly to the Network General Counsel.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred; alternatively, a master’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is acceptable.
• A minimum of five years of experience in healthcare compliance and privacy, including hands-on management in complex organizational environments.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems, fraud and abuse laws, and patient privacy laws is required.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and resolving billing and regulatory compliance issues.
• Proven ability to interact and coordinate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
