Location: Located in the West Tennessee region, within commuting distance of Humboldt, Lexington, and other nearby communities.
Salary: $130K base + bonus incentive + $15K sign-on + relocation assistance
Facility Type: Small hospital
Bed Count: 35 beds
Reports: 2 House Supervisors (1 day / 1 night)
Team Size: ~60 FTEs
A long-term acute care hospital in the Jackson, TN area is looking for a Chief Nursing Officer to oversee and grow their clinical services. The facility operates within a larger hospital system and serves patients who require extended recovery support after intensive care.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Nurse Manager (ICU or MedSurg) or a Director-level nurse ready to step into a hospital-wide leadership role.

Key Experience:

Proven leadership in acute care units such as ICU, telemetry, or MedSurg

Experience or knowledge of long-term acute care hospitals (small hospital) or rehabilitation facilities is advantageous

Skilled in guiding teams through organizational change and supporting professional development

Track record of collaborating with executive leadership to drive improvements in patient outcomes and care quality

Familiarity with regulatory accreditation processes and developing nursing staffing models is preferred
Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Minimum of 3 years in a hospital-based nursing leadership role

Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee

BLS certification required
-
ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
