Location: Odessa, TX area
Client:
- Small Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Clinical Informatics Specialist
- Specific tasks associated with the implementation of clinical application systems.
- Ensures that the system meets the functional requirements and serves as a communication intermediary with other departmental users during development workflows and installation of application software.
- Using a Nursing perspective, work closely with the Information Technology Department to ensure the clinical user requests are considered during the definition of functional requirements of clinical software applications.
- Required to be onsite.
Qualifications: Clinical Informatics Specialist
- TX RN License or Compact RN license
- Bachelor Degree Nursing
- Nurse Informatics Certification is preferred but not required
- 5 years of experience in clinical setting.
- 2 years of experience with clinical information systems.
- Management experience helpful.
