Overview:
Our client, a leading aftermarket vehicle accessory manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to drive growth within key market segments. This role will be crucial in expanding existing business, developing new opportunities, and strengthening the company’s market presence.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to fuel company growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
• Assess and enhance current partnerships and sales strategies, optimizing successful practices and addressing areas for improvement.
• Manage and grow key client relationships while establishing new connections.
• Elevate the company’s profile and brand presence in the market.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships internally and externally to boost lead generation and market share.
• Assemble and lead cross-functional teams to drive sustainable, long-term growth.
• Monitor emerging markets and trends to capitalize on new opportunities.
• Promote and sustain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company.
• Identify and recommend new products and services to meet market demands.
• Propose and develop strategic partnerships to enhance business prospects.
• Contribute to shaping the company’s long-term goals and strategies for achieving them.
• Research and explore new markets to expand business opportunities.
• Advise on product development, distribution, and promotional strategies.
• Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain and build relationships with key distributors and partners.
• Conduct webinars and presentations to promote the company’s brand and products.
• Travel to customer locations, distribution centers, and other relevant sites.
• Prepare and submit proposals for potential partners and customers.
• Guide the development of customer-facing web platforms and digital experiences.
• Achieve and surpass personal sales quotas.

Requirements:

• Strong relationship management skills.
• Expertise in strategic sales planning.
• In-depth knowledge of the aftermarket vehicle accessory market.
• Proven experience selling to large warehouse distributors.
• Familiarity with eCommerce sales channels.
• Solid financial and business acumen.
