Client:
- Small Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Director of Education/Staff Development
- Provide educational support to enhance the knowledge and skills of both clinical professionals and all Hospital employees.
- Plan, develop, and coordinate activities associated with orientation and ongoing education for team members.
- In collaboration with department directors, plans, develops, designs, and implements orientation/education/training based on needs assessment, organizational requests, regulatory requirements, quality improvement, new technology and other factors as needed.
- Required to be onsite.
Qualifications: Director of Education/Staff Development
- Texas Registered Nurse license or Compact License
- Prior experience in an educator role in an acute care hospital.
- Knowledge of the nursing process, Board of Nursing standards, and Texas Nursing Association standards
