Director of Emergency Department Responsibilities:
- The overall direction of the Emergency Department
- Accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care
- The overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management of the Emergency Department
- Reports to CNO
Director of Emergency Department Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing
- Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
- Minimum two plus (2+) years of inpatient Hospital Emergency Management Experience
