Director of HIM and Revenue Cycle
Location: Odessa, TX area
Client:
- Small Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Director of HIM and Revenue Cycle
- Develop, plan, organize and implement current and future strategies to improve revenue cycle performance.
- Lead and direct all revenue cycle functions including but not limited to registration, pre-cert/ pre-authorization, insurance verification, documentation completion and improvement, timely change entry coding, denial reduction and customer service.
- For Registration, Billing, Coding and Health Information Management working closely with all departments in the hospital district
- Required to be onsite.
Qualifications: Director of HIM and Revenue Cycle
- Bachelor’s Degree in health information management, business or related field.
- RHIA Certification Preferred
- Two years Hospital Revenue Cycle/HIM experience
- Two years hospital supervisory experience
