Director of Infusion Operations

This position is with one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups in the country, based in Chicagoland, and one of the fastest-growing healthcare networks in the US. Known for its innovative approach and commitment to providing top-tier patient care, this organization is expanding its operations and seeking a dynamic leader to oversee its infusion services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage infusion operations across five locations, comprising 58 infusion chairs and generating $140M in annual revenue.
• Oversee operational and financial performance of oncology and non-oncology infusion services, driving profitability and achieving benchmark margins.
• Partner with operational leadership to implement cost management strategies, including optimizing drug costs and enhancing operational efficiencies.
• Supervise clinic managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of high performance.
• Provide strategic oversight for the launch and integration of a new infusion facility with an additional 13 chairs, as well as future facilities.
• Balance clinical understanding with P&L leadership to deliver sustainable growth and operational excellence in infusion services.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance patient care delivery, streamline operational workflows, and improve financial performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field required; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in healthcare operations with a proven track record of P&L management and multi-site leadership.
• Strong understanding of infusion services in both oncology and non-oncology settings.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to guide clinic managers and achieve organizational objectives.
• Experience in opening new facilities and scaling operations is highly desirable.
• Clinical background is a plus but not required; candidates must demonstrate strong business acumen and a strategic mindset.
