Job Summary
This position is with a large, national, extremely fast growing specialty physician group. The Director of Strategy is responsible for driving the execution of high-priority initiatives and supporting the governance model. The Director will work closely with the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and the CEO to maintain the enterprise strategy, prioritize, and manage execution of key initiatives, and monitor and report on progress of strategy execution. The Office of the CEO serves as the connective tissue between departments, the executive team, and the Board of Directors to develop a cohesive enterprise strategy and execution plan. The Director will also support the governance by maintaining monthly operating review & KPI reports and scoping and preparing for quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
The role will come with exposure to all lines of business, operational areas, and will involve working with leadership across the organization, the financial sponsor, and the Board of Directors. The Director will report to the VP within the Office of the CEO.
Geography
This position has a high preference for someone in South Florida. The ideal candidate is located there or is willing to relocate. Remote with heavy travel will be considered.
Responsibilities
Maintain enterprise strategy, key value drivers, and initiatives to deliver the strategy
Scope, define, and frame strategic initiatives with Executive Team (C-suite) and Office of the CEO
Advise departmental and business leaders on strategic planning efforts
Drive research & analysis and material creation (PowerPoint decks) to enable decision-making
Drive high-priority initiative and project execution with cross-functional teams
Research market landscape, customer demands, and competitive offerings, gathering feedback from Business Development, VBC teams, regional/in-market teammates, and affiliated practices
Synthesize market intel and communicate out to key stakeholders
Articulate the key strategic questions to answer based on market intel
Strategize where to play and how to win with Chief Development Officer and Office of the CEO
Support the maintenance and execution of the integrated M&A and VBC go-to-market strategy
Reporting & Governance
Support Office of the CEO to scope and drive preparation of governance meetings
Drive preparation for governance meetings in collaboration with departments
Organizational capability building
Develop standards for the organization on quality work products
Model how to effectively develop and communicate work products with departments
Requirements
3-5+ years in management consulting or similar corporate function
Experience in healthcare is preferred (in house or consulting projects)
MBA is preferred
