Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director for Strategic Accounts with a proven history of achieving success both individually and through leading others. In this role, you will drive Amprius Technologies’ market growth by fostering product expansion, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships at all levels of an organization. Your focus will be on developing new strategic business opportunities and maximizing sales potential within assigned accounts.
Job Responsibilities:
- This is an on-site role at our Fremont, CA office.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan with an aggressive growth mindset to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Establish and implement market penetration strategies to expand market share.
- Manage and nurture relationships with assigned accounts to ensure sustained growth.
- Identify and evaluate new sales opportunities, creating a plan to secure new accounts.
- Build and maintain business contacts and relationships at all organizational levels.
- Coordinate pricing strategies and ensure proper execution for assigned accounts.
- Oversee the implementation and management of customer contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Vendor Managed Inventories (VMIs), and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and engagement.
- Interact periodically with production and R&D teams to guide product development based on market insights.
- Maintain rolling forecasts for up to 5 years, adjusting as needed based on market demands.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 8+ years of successful experience in the Battery Industry or a related field.
- Experience interfacing with OEMs and Tier-One customers/suppliers.
- Expertise in manufacturing sales.
- Proven ability to execute strategic sales plans and exceed revenue goals.
- Demonstrated success in managing a diverse product portfolio.
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
- Superior communication, presentation, and influencing skills at all organizational levels.
- Advanced negotiation skills and a proven ability to close deals.
- Strong experience in sales analytics.
Travel:
- Frequent domestic travel with occasional international trips.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Onsite in Fremont, CA.
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk while working on a computer.
- Capable of lifting and moving up to 25 pounds.
Benefits:
- Comprehensive compensation package, including base salary and generous RSUs. Salary range: $155,000 – $185,000 DOE.
