Director, Strategic Initiatives – Healthcare
This position is with one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups in the country. It is Chicagoland based and also one of the fastest growing networks in the US. This group recently hired an enterprise strategy lead and is he is looking to build out his team. The Director of Strategic Initiatives will implement strategic transformation initiatives, driving change, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring successful execution. This position will collaborate across diverse teams while executing on transformation initiatives.
Geography – This group is based in Chicagoland. The ideal candidate can be located anywhere.
Responsibilities:
• Execute transformation initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Implement transformation objectives within cross-functional teams.
• Achieve operational and financial objectives for transformation initiatives.
• Translate strategy into operational tactics through focused efforts/actions that have the greatest strategic impact.
• Utilize change management strategies to facilitate organizational transformation.
• Guide and support teams as they navigate through change.
• Oversee the execution and monitoring of transformational projects and programs.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Implement project management best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize data analytics and insights to measure the impact of transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to identify key performance indicators and success metrics.
• Assist in monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of changes and make recommendations to further efforts in achieving goals.
• Support key metrics that drive decisions and generate ROI.
• Implement training programs to build the capabilities of teams involved in transformation initiatives.
• Provide education and resources to support staff in adapting to new processes and workflows.
• Ensure program success by developing and implementing interventions when necessary.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field highly preferred.
• Five or more years of experience working within healthcare consulting and/or operational consulting.
