Director, Supply Chain
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all supply chain activities related to Company’s products and services and insuring on-time delivery to clients.
- Contribute to the growth of our business by consistently meeting or surpassing customer expectations, enhancing organizational efficiencies, and ensuring employee satisfaction.
- Meet objectives related to customer satisfaction, quality, delivery, and cost.
Essential Skills and Experience

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure effective partnerships.

Prepare, review, and manage purchase orders, bid proposals, and contracts while ensuring adherence to budget constraints and project scopes.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements with suppliers and freight companies, and evaluate their performance to maintain cost-effective operations.

Oversee forecasting, planning, procurement, scheduling, logistics, and transportation for internal and external needs.

Monitor order progress and follow up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives while effectively managing operational budgets.

Maintain detailed procurement records and manuals for reference and compliance.

Lead sourcing efforts by adapting purchasing strategies to market fluctuations and driving cost efficiencies.

Provide precise project cost estimates within specified timelines.

Track and analyze commodity market trends to anticipate pricing and availability of required materials and components.

Foster strong relationships with vendors, industry leaders, and strategic partners to support organizational goals.

Collaborate effectively with sales, procurement, and operations teams, including manufacturing and engineering departments.

Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills

Minimum of five years of experience managing a Supply Chain department with high-volume supply chain operations.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of material accurately.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, metal fabrications, and electrical/power equipment components.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong focus on customer satisfaction and relationship management.

At least three years of purchasing and supply chain experience in OEM equipment manufacturing and consumables industries, including progressive managerial responsibilities.

High level of integrity and adherence to ethical practices.

Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office Suite, smartphone/tablet usage, ERP/MRP systems, Salesforce, and Business Central.

Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management (preferred).
