Executive Vice President, National Sales
A national leader in landscape and construction services is seeking a transformational EVP of National Sales to oversee revenue generation across Maintenance, Construction, and Strategic Accounts. This senior executive will unify a decentralized sales force under one high-performance culture, align service lines for a seamless client experience, and lead the development and execution of a national sales strategy that supports long-term, sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership

Direct sales activities across Maintenance, Construction, and Strategic Accounts divisions.

Foster alignment and collaboration among business units to support integrated, cross-functional selling strategies.

Provide strategic oversight to the Strategic Accounts team, working closely with regional and construction sales leaders.
Team Leadership & Organizational Management

Lead a national sales organization, including Regional Sales Leaders and Business Development teams.

Ensure consistent team structure and performance across all geographic markets.

Promote a culture of accountability, development, and results.
Strategic Growth & Business Development

Partner with executive leadership to define and execute a multi-year growth strategy.

Focus on organic growth, strategic partnerships, internal account transitions, and sustainable revenue expansion.
Performance Management & Reporting

Establish a clear, consistent cadence for performance reviews—from weekly updates to annual reviews.

Define and monitor KPIs that measure sales effectiveness, pipeline health, and execution quality.
Sales Enablement & Training

Co-design scalable training programs to support national sales development.

Roll out a standardized, repeatable sales methodology across all markets and service lines.
Brand Visibility & Market Engagement

Serve as a key representative in industry organizations and strategic commercial real estate networks (e.g., BOMA, JLL, CBRE).

Strengthen the company’s brand presence in key markets through targeted networking and engagement strategies.
Sales Operations & Investment Strategy

Manage the national sales budget and oversee strategic sales investments.

Maximize ROI from talent development, training initiatives, partnerships, events, and professional memberships.

Adapt investment strategy based on performance data and market insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Demonstrated success leading multi-region B2B sales teams, preferably in service-based or project-driven industries.
