Human Resources Generalist
Job Title: HR Generalist
Location: Multi-state operation (based in the Pacific Northwest) with occasional travel
Our client, a multi-division construction and environmental services organization operating across several states, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This role supports a wide range of human resources functions, with a focus on employee relations, policy compliance, and performance management across multiple business locations.
The HR Generalist will serve as a key point of contact for internal HR-related needs and work closely with department managers on employee issues, documentation, and compliance. Additional responsibilities include supporting recruiting, onboarding, training coordination, and cultural initiatives. The role reports to the HR Director and plays a key part in ensuring consistent HR practices across the organization.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources; a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience working across multiple states or within the construction industry is a plus.

Solid understanding of employment laws, compliance standards, and HR best practices.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative mindset.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
