Manager, Business Development – Physician & Provider Relations
Purpose:
Drive organic provider growth opportunities through recruitment of new providers, identification of new practices, and engagement with healthcare community throughout Chicagoland.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities through proactive outbound physician and APP recruitment efforts across Chicagoland area
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with physician practices, individual physicians and APPs, medical schools, and training programs
- Develop and lead programs for engaging with medical schools, residency, and fellowship programs to support recruitment of physicians
- Partner with operations and clinical leadership to present, interview, and hire physician candidates to achieve growth objectives
- Cultivate recruitment tools, resources and contacts to identify and track potential candidates / growth opportunities
- Develop and maintain robust pipeline of eligible candidates in CRM tool
- Maintain relationships with community and business leaders to identify and develop opportunities to maintain and grow practices:
- Strategic partnerships
- Events and programming
- Conferences
Requirements
- College education
- Chicago Based
- Clinical background is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to travel from time-to-time (e.g., medical schools, residency programs, etc.)
