Material Flow Manager
The Material Flow Manager is responsible for the daily management of Material replenishment (Kanban), presentation and flow for the Main Production facilities to ensure inventory accuracy.
Job Responsibilities
• Primary responsibilities for this position include:
o Material Replenishment (Kanban), Material Presentation (CW/Static bins/POU), and Material Flow (Feed the line).
o Improve inventory accuracy and reduce part shortages.
o Work directly with Purchasing and internal supply sources to coordinate material flow processes.
o Manages the Material Handling and Inventory Control team.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
• Minimum of four years of supervisory experience as well as experience in Manufacturing inventory/warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Required to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Knowledge to operate machines, hand tools, tape measures, cranes, and other equipment.
• Must be proficient in understanding continuous improvement principles.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc.
• Must be willing to obtain forklift certification
