Director of OB Responsibilities:
- Organize, direct, and supervise the functions of the OB unit including policy and procedures are followed
- Ensure safe staffing levels are maintained; supplies and equipment are at sufficient levels; and efficient patient throughput is managed.
- Develop, implement, and manage the department budget, engage in ongoing quality and performance improvement, invests in lifelong learning for staff professional development and assures employees complete required annual competencies.
- Required to be onsite
- Reports to CNO
Director of OB Qualifications:
- Associate Degree Nursing
- NC RN State Licensure Required or Compact RN License
- Two years of clinical OB nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of Hospital Management experience.
- BLS
The hospital offers an aggressive compensation commensurate with experience.
