A leading printing services company in North America is seeking a Press Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing of flexographic labels. This role is responsible for ensuring production and quality output meets customer and company standards by implementing effective production procedures. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who drives team performance, problem-solves efficiently, and makes strategic decisions to optimize operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily press manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and execute short- and long-term operational objectives.
- Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team, providing performance feedback and growth opportunities.
- Analyze production data to assess productivity, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
- Monitor quality and production standards, promptly addressing any issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Determine staffing requirements to maximize efficiency while staying within budget.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Drive and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing production management; experience in the print industry is a plus.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring, motivating, and training diverse teams.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with ISO/BRC quality standards and health and safety regulations.
- Experience tracking and reporting key production metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
Education & Experience
- Required: Associate’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or 5+ years in a manufacturing leadership role managing a large team.
- Preferred: Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, ISO/BRC quality practices, and audit processes.
