Pricing Analyst
We are currently partnering with a Private Equity-backed, 250+ location, multi-state consumer services company looking to add a Pricing Analyst to the team.
The Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally across departments to secure and analyze data in order to recommend effective pricing strategies. This position will have both analytical and project management responsibilities and will be responsible for data integrity and ensuring price execution is performed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, outstanding business acumen, and strong communication skills.
Work Environment: 100% Remote. Strong preference to candidates who reside in ET/CT time zones.
Key Responsibilities

Market and Competitor Analysis
- Analyze competitor pricing and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Use statistical modeling to evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on profitability and market positioning.

Data-Driven Insights
- Assess data from various sources to uncover trends in pricing and market behavior.
- Forecast revenue, market share, and sales performance based on production costs, profit margins, and customer demand.

Pricing Strategy Development
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create pricing strategies that enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
- Develop dynamic pricing tools to adapt to evolving market needs and trends.

Reporting and Presentation
- Prepare and deliver pricing analysis reports to executives and key stakeholders.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights and market analysis.

Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on pricing analysis techniques, tools, and industry trends to refine methodologies and approaches.
- Monitor and adjust pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in pricing analysis and strategy development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including VBA macros.
- Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
