Pricing Analyst
Pricing Analyst
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally across departments to secure and analyze data in order to recommend effective pricing strategies. This position will have both analytical and project management responsibilities and will be responsible for data integrity and ensuring price execution is performed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, outstanding business acumen, and strong communication skills.
Work Environment: Hybrid schedule (3 days in office)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze competitor pricing and market trends, and apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
- Assess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.
- Forecast revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and sales volumes.
- Track customer engagement and collaborate with the sales and marketing departments to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
- Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends.
- Prepare and present pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff.
- Keep informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with Accounting, Finance, or Marketing concentration; or equivalent training, education, and experience
- 3+ years of pricing and analytics experience
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Experience using ERP, Power BI, and other applications.
- Strong experience with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel including VBA macros.
