Program Manager, Growth Initiatives
This position is with one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups in the country. It is Chicagoland based and also one of the fastest growing networks in the US. This group recently hired an enterprise strategy lead and is he is looking to build out his team. The Program Manager will lead and manage a portfolio of growth initiatives across all functions of the organization. As a self-starter, you will be responsible for tracking, owning, and ensuring accountability across these initiatives. This role requires strong program management skills, the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in managing integration or transformation offices is a plus, as is a basic understanding of financial principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth Initiatives: Lead and manage growth-focused programs across departments, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact, fostering engagement and accountability among cross-functional teams and project stakeholders.
- Project Management: Track project progress, establish milestones, and ensure teams deliver on timelines, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement program management standards and best practices to enhance collaboration and streamline execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Schedule and facilitate regular updates with key stakeholders, ensuring projects remain aligned with growth objectives and evolving priorities.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct in-depth analyses, provide actionable insights, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on performance data.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks or challenges in project execution and implement solutions to ensure continued momentum and success.
- Knowledge Sharing: Create materials that highlight successes and best practices to drive continuous improvement and organizational learning.
- Adaptable Support: Contribute to other high-priority organizational initiatives and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in program or project management, with a preference for experience in integration or transformation projects.
- Independent Drive: Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and lead projects from concept to execution.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong background in managing complex projects, ensuring accountability, and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Financial Literacy: Basic understanding of financial principles, with the ability to interpret data and make sound financial recommendations.
- Analytical Thinking: Skilled in analyzing complex information, deriving insights, and presenting data-driven recommendations effectively.
- Results-Oriented Approach: Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and a focus on achieving results and overcoming challenges.
