Project Manager – Integration and Transformation
This position is with a private equity backed, global parts and supply chain solutions provider. It will help execute this group’s fast-paced acquisitions’ integrations.
Geography – This role is ideally located in Los Angeles and will require in office work.
Responsibilities
Portfolio & Program Management:
- Oversee governance processes, cross-project planning, and coordination.
- Provide steering visibility and act as a point of escalation.
- Manage multiple projects to ensure swift execution.
Project Resource Management:
- Conduct capacity planning and recruit/interview project managers.
- Manage performance and provide onboarding and coaching.
M&A Project Management:
- Coordinate and manage integration planning and execution for mergers and acquisitions.
Administrative Tasks:
- Manage invoice processing, tool utilization, and reporting.
Acquisition Strategy Support:
- Develop and execute detailed integration plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and success metrics to support the company’s acquisition strategy.
Knowledge Sharing:
- Document and communicate key lessons from acquisition integrations, system implementations, and growth initiatives to the executive team.
Project Assistance:
- Assist in prioritizing, scoping, resourcing, and executing projects at the strategic business unit level.
Qualifications/Education/Credentials
Experience:
- 1-2 years in project, program, integration management, or acquisition execution.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Project Planning:
- Experience in developing workplans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations for effective project planning and execution.
Innovation & Risk-Taking:
- Ability to promote innovative ideas and take calculated risks to drive change.
Autonomy:
- Proven ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision.

- Portfolio & program management (gating & governance, cross-project planning, coordination, steering visibility, point of escalation). Manage multiple projects and drive fast-paced execution
- Project resource management (capacity planning, PM recruiting/interviewing, performance management, on-boarding and coaching)
- M&A project management (integration planning & execution coordination)
- Administrative (invoice management, tools, reporting)
- Support execution of Company’s acquisition strategy by building and executing on detailed integration plans including timelines, milestones, budget, resource plan, and success metrics
- Document and communicate key learnings, positive and negative, from acquisition integrations, system implementations, and other critical growth initiatives to the executive management team
- Assist with prioritizing, scoping, resourcing and executing SBU level projects.
Qualifications/Education/credentials
- 1-2 years experience in various aspects of project/program/integration management/ acquisition execution
- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent education / work experience
- Experience developing workplans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in project planning and execution
- Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change
- Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision
- Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills
