Position Title: Regional Chief Quality Officer (RCQO)
Location: Pacific Northwest (PNW) – Washington State (Seattle market)
Compensation: $250,000–$375,000 + relocation assistance
Overview:
We are partnering with a premier healthcare system in the Pacific Northwest to identify a strategic and dynamic Regional Chief Quality Officer (RCQO) to lead quality initiatives across a complex, multi-site health system. This executive role spans a portfolio of 10+ hospitals and multiple clinics throughout the region and plays a critical role in driving high-reliability care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
The RCQO will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer of the PNW Division and serve as the senior clinical quality leader, guiding the implementation of system-wide quality and performance improvement strategies. This individual will act as a connector between clinical and operational leaders across all sites, translating vision into actionable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic clinical leadership for regional quality and safety initiatives.

Lead implementation of the System Quality Strategic Plan in alignment with organizational goals.

Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission (TJC).

Champion Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to drive performance improvement.

Serve as a system-wide subject matter expert in quality, risk, and regulatory readiness.

Collaborate with executive leaders to define KPIs and track quality metrics.

Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Public Health, Health/Business Administration, or related field.

Residency in Washington State required.

10+ years of senior leadership in quality management within a large healthcare system.

5+ years in a multi-site environment with complex operations.

Deep knowledge of regulatory bodies (TJC, DNV) and accreditation standards.

Proven record of leading strategic clinical performance improvement efforts.

Certifications such as CPHQ, CPHRM, or Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt+ strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Data-driven with strong analytical and project management capabilities.
