Regional Director of Operations
This position is with a national specialty physician group and is responsible for the overall operational success of the health care centers throughout Texas. This role provides strategic leadership and direction to the care centers, including the coordination of all care center operations activities (excluding activities involving professional medical judgment) and full P&L ownership. Position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and follow-through on a wide range of sensitive and complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
• Evaluate and enhance the skills of care center managers, leveraging high-performing leaders to drive operational efficiency.
• Identify and implement best practices from top-performing locations to streamline tasks across all care centers.
• Foster strong working relationships between care centers and Health Management support teams to provide professional guidance and operational leadership.
• Establish accountability by defining, tracking, and assessing care center manager competencies, providing clear leadership and direction.
• Collaborate with marketing to deploy and analyze patient satisfaction surveys, turning feedback into actionable operational plans.
• Oversee customer service training initiatives to enhance patient experiences where needed.
Financial and Regulatory Oversight:
• Assist care center managers with annual budget preparation and support adherence to expense expectations through group purchasing programs.
• Partner with Decision Support teams to monitor productivity and profitability trends, developing corrective action plans for downward trends.
• Ensure consistent communication and evaluation of productivity and compensation data in partnership with Finance and Clinical teams.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and CLIA regulations, working closely with support teams.
• Review and recommend approval or denial of capital expense requests to senior executives.
Practice Onboarding and Operational Support:
• Support the onboarding of new practices by adhering to the Implementation Playbook.
• Assist in the recommendation and procurement of capital equipment as needed.
Communication and Workflow:
• Promote effective communication strategies to ensure a positive work environment and optimal operational workflows across care centers.
Staff Development:
• Facilitate educational opportunities to support management teams and cultivate new leaders within the organization.
• Encourage professional growth by guiding care center managers in improving skill sets, understanding compensation models, and utilizing preferred services and vendors.
• Provide timely communication, responding to inquiries within 24–48 hours.
• Develop and transfer actionable plans to care centers to address specific needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of senior healthcare operations experience, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain valuable long-term relationships.
• Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally to maximize business impact.
• Strong track record in prospecting, lead generation, and driving revenue growth.
