Vice President of Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company objectives and revenue targets, focusing on driving organic growth and leveraging recent acquisitions.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to identify growth opportunities and foster collaboration.
  • Analyze market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs to uncover new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other departments to align sales efforts with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and metrics to track performance, identify improvement areas, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and reporting, ensuring accountability and transparency across the organization.
  • Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation in the sales function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and meet sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of motivating teams to deliver outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, utilizing data and insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for innovation and a willingness to take calculated risks to drive growth.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
