Sales Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee sales activities within the New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont territory.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
- Actively prospect and penetrate new accounts to expand market share.
- Provide quotes and negotiate deals with customers, ensuring successful order closures.
- Conduct regular in-person meetings with customers throughout the assigned territory.
- Perform cold calling and lead prospecting to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Track and report sales activities and results for management.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals in the territory.
Qualifications:
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for customer relations and achieving sales goals.
- Experience in machine tool manufacturing or B2B capital equipment sales is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont territory.
Compensation:
Compensation is negotiable and based on the candidate’s background and qualifications. A portion of the salary will be commission-based.
