Job Title: Sales Manager – Dairy Products
Overview:
A leading regional supplier is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead sales operations and drive growth within the foodservice and retail distribution markets. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the foodservice industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing key accounts and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed company revenue and growth goals.

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within targeted sectors.

Lead and inspire a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, guidance, and support to optimize performance and professional growth.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.

Partner with internal teams—operations, logistics, and customer service—to ensure a best-in-class customer experience.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Deliver accurate forecasts, manage budgets, and provide clear performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role; experience in the dairy or broader food industry is preferred.

In-depth knowledge of dairy products, commodity pricing, supply chain operations, and distribution models.

Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Willingness to travel regionally as required.
