Sales Manager Marine Engines
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Marine Sales Manager to lead and expand our marine engine sales operations in the USA and Canada. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a strong understanding of the marine industry and a passion for developing business opportunities.
In this position, you will play a key role in driving sales strategies, managing distributor relationships, and expanding market presence across both the commercial and recreational marine sectors. You will work closely with distributors, shipyards, naval architects, and fleet owners to grow our business and ensure our products meet the needs of the market.
Location: San Antonio, Texas / hybrid
Travel Requirement: 50%+
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Market Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share in the marine sector.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to optimize product offerings and customer engagement.
- Work closely with business units and factory teams to ensure the right product mix and alignment with market needs.

Account & Distributor Management
- Manage key accounts, fostering long-term partnerships and sustainable business growth.
- Provide direct sales support to distributors, assisting with prospecting and sales execution.
- Maintain and update distributor pricing lists, working closely with pre-sales and factory teams.

Financial & Operational Oversight
- Own P&L responsibilities for the marine segment, ensuring pricing, profitability, and revenue targets are met.
- Forecast sales volume and distributor demand, aligning with production and supply chain strategies.

Industry Engagement & Compliance
- Prepare and respond to RFPs and RFQs, either independently or in collaboration with distributors.
- Create and deliver customized sales presentations using factory-provided materials.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and distributor meetings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or related field).
- Proven experience in commercial or technical sales.
- Knowledge of the marine, off-highway, or power generation industries.
