Position Summary
The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Business Transformation will play a key leadership role in driving high-impact projects that enhance operational performance, streamline processes, and support long-term business objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable value.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution

Design and execute strategic programs that fuel business growth and operational effectiveness.

Lead transformation efforts from initial concept through full implementation, ensuring seamless adoption across teams.

Serve as a key liaison between leadership and operational teams, ensuring clear communication and aligned execution of company goals.
Operational Optimization & Transformation

Evaluate and improve current business processes to increase efficiency and performance.

Collaborate across departments—including operations, finance, IT, and HR—to implement innovative, scalable practices.

Use data and insights to guide decision-making and drive ongoing improvements.
Project & Change Management

Manage a portfolio of high-impact projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with business objectives.

Create frameworks, tools, and systems that support long-term transformation success.

Lead change management efforts to cultivate a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Partner with stakeholders across all levels to build alignment and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives.

Clearly communicate goals, progress, and impacts of transformation efforts to leadership and team members.

Facilitate training, workshops, and regular updates to keep teams engaged and informed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline; MBA strongly preferred.

8+ years of experience in business transformation, strategy execution, or operational leadership in a high-growth environment.

Proven track record of leading successful transformation initiatives with tangible business results.

Deep knowledge of process improvement and project management methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in private equity-backed or rapidly scaling companies is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with the company’s growth and operational goals.
- Lead transformation projects from concept to implementation, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.
- Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and functional teams, ensuring alignment and execution.
Operational & Business Transformation
- Assess current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, finance, IT, HR, and other departments to implement best practices.
- Use data analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Project & Change Management
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business priorities.
- Develop tools, workflows, and frameworks to support sustainable transformation efforts.
- Lead change management initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Work cross-functionally to ensure stakeholder buy-in and smooth execution of strategic projects.
- Communicate transformation objectives effectively to leadership and frontline teams.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and progress updates to ensure transparency and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Eight or more years of experience in business transformation, strategic initiatives, or operational leadership in a dynamic, growing environment.
- Proven ability to execute high-impact transformation projects with measurable results.
- Strong expertise in process optimization, project management, Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, or similar frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a private equity-backed or rapidly scaling organization is a plus.
