Sr. Director, Strategic Operations and Innovation
The Sr. Director, Strategic Operations and Innovation, will drive business growth, operational efficiencies, and patient satisfaction through strategic initiatives and innovation for this national specialty physician group. Collaborating with physicians and cross-functional teams, this role will align efforts across departments to support long-term organizational goals. Acting as a bridge between clinical and business units, the Sr. Director will ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth
Drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiencies and improve patient satisfaction by closely collaborating with physicians, business units, and external partners. -
Physician Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, translating their needs into actionable strategies that align clinical and business priorities. -
Innovation & Efficiency
Lead technology and process improvements to optimize operations and elevate patient outcomes, working closely with IT, Revenue Cycle, and Business Development teams. -
Project Leadership
Oversee strategic projects, coordinating across departments to ensure successful execution and measurable impact, proactively addressing any roadblocks. -
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Finance, Operations, IT, and Clinical Affairs to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and improve clinical and operational outcomes. -
Market Analysis
Analyze market trends and internal data to identify new growth opportunities, providing strategic recommendations based on key insights. -
Change Management
Champion change initiatives, fostering engagement and adoption of new processes through clear, effective communication.
Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. -
Experience
8-10 years in strategic growth or business development, ideally within a healthcare or physician practice setting. -
Skills
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with physicians and understand clinical-business priorities.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Background in physician practice management or multi-specialty healthcare.
- Knowledge of revenue cycle management, health information management, and patient satisfaction strategies.
- Demonstrated success in managing long-term strategic projects with measurable outcomes.
