Senior Financial Analyst
A multi-site healthcare company, supported by Private Equity, is in search of a Senior Financial Analyst to join their operational finance team. This addition to the team is driven by the company’s robust acquisition strategy, aiming to fortify support for its ongoing growth initiatives.
You will perform financial analysis to support operations and financial objectives; supports annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting production; analyze actuals vs. budget variances for operations, physician practices, and /or facilities; provide analysis and commentary in support of financial reporting packages for internal and external third parties.
Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide an in-depth review of financial results on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Develop financial models and pro forma analyses to support informed decision-making, such as assessing the financial impact of new business acquisitions, services, or processes.
- Assist other disciplines within the company to identify and measure key success factors.
- Give feedback to other team members and company leaders on anything which can help improve the business.
- Acquisition analysis and planning and model building to provide financial support.
- Work closely with operations to understand and drive market growth.
- Foster strong working relationships with business partners at all organizational levels.
Requirements & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (accounting, finance, math, information technology, statistics, etc.) or equivalent experience required.
- 3+ years of experience, ideally in multi-site healthcare organization. High growth companies, or private equity backed companies highly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial forecasting tools
- Proficient understanding of profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and inter-company financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
