This is a unique inside sales position with the ability to make a SIX-FIGURE income in as little as 18 months! Senior Freight Broker / Logistics Account Executive (REMOTE)The Senior Freight Broker will play a crucial role in driving business growth by leveraging their industry expertise and existing client relationships. This role requires a deep understanding of freight brokerage operations, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics needs. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of success and the ability to generate immediate revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Utilize your established book of business to secure new clients and expand existing relationships, contributing to the company’s growth.
- Carrier Negotiation: Identify and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Load Coordination: Oversee the full cycle of load coordination, including planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or disruptions in the transportation process to ensure seamless delivery.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry developments to provide clients with the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Leadership: Mentor and guide junior brokers, sharing best practices and strategies to enhance team performance.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining open lines of communication.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Freight Broker with a proven track record of success in the logistics industry.
- Established book of business with strong client and carrier relationships.
- Deep knowledge of freight and transportation market trends and practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
- Proficient in using transportation management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
