Supply Chain Manager- Customer Service
Responsibilities
Customer Service Department Management
- Lead the company in achieving world class order fill, case fill and on time delivery results
- Return material authorizations
- Balance & Support of Forward Warehouses
- Manage Lead Times
- Reduce Order Errors
- Manage verification of orders
- Manage full and partial pallet shipment on orders
- Manage order freight weights
- Monitor and coordinate promotional big events (including mods, can-can, and new product launches)
- Provide service prioritization guidance to supporting departments such as Operations, Materials, Labels, and Shipping.
- Prioritize outstanding orders, expedited loads and work with the Distribution Center to ensure customers have appropriate dock appointments.
- Establish, Track and Analyze service key performance metrics
Communication & Leadership
- Communication of objectives and direction to employees
- Interdepartmental – to share customer information
- Customer – to address inquiries & problems
- Special Projects reporting
- Develop other leaders
- Lead a team of 7-8 supply chain professionals
- Communicate directly with Red Gold Customers
- Partner with sales to provide world-class support
Training
- Oversee the training for new Red Gold employees in the area of Customer Service
- Develop Leaders within the customer service team
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 4 year degree – business discipline preferred
- 4-5 years Supervisory experience
- 4-6 years in business administration
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent Computer and Business tools proficiency in
- Microsoft Office/Outlook, Infor LX, Silvon data tracker/viewer, Business Intelligence tools, Query tools, SQL.
