Vice President, Ambulatory Surgery Center Division
Position Overview
The Vice President, ASCs leads the surgery center division and oversees all business aspects. It will supervise corporate and regional ASC operating teams and manages all staff at the surgery centers.
Geography
Candidates can be located anywhere in the country. This will be a remote role with travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic and Operating Planning
- Develop long-term strategies for scaling the surgery center business.
- Lead annual operating planning to meet business objectives.
- Make decisions on insourcing vs. outsourcing functions to support growth.

P&L Ownership & Clinical Operations Management
- Ensure operational excellence, including workflow, staffing, and facility management across the network.
- Manage referral networks and control expenses.
- Oversee clinical quality programs in partnership with the Chief Medical Officer and Compliance teams.
- Manage vendor relationships for outsourced functions.
- Collaborate with shared services (HR, IT, RCM, Legal & Compliance, Finance & Accounting).

Governance
- Work with Legal & Compliance teams to develop governance structures for surgery centers.

Management System
- Design and implement a performance and engagement management system, including Monthly Operating Reviews and Quarterly Board meetings.

Growth Planning & Execution
- Lead business development efforts to launch new surgery centers and expand affiliated physician practices.
- Oversee facility development for new centers, acquisitions, and conversions.
- Manage site launches, including licensure, insurance, credentialing, and accreditation processes.
