Vice President of Finance
Reports to: CEO | Location: Little Rock, AK | Relocation or travel support provided
The VP of Finance will be a key strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role will play a critical part in shaping business strategy, driving performance, and supporting growth initiatives—including M&A and operational improvements.
While this is a high-impact leadership role, it will be lean from a team standpoint. The ideal candidate should be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and operating hands-on, while also thinking strategically and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. This individual will be the top leader in accounting and finance, reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO, providing insights that shape company strategy and guide decision-making.

Build and maintain a driver-based financial model to support forecasting, performance monitoring, and strategic planning.

Lead core financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Analyze and communicate key business metrics, including revenue drivers, cost structures, and margin improvement opportunities.

Support evaluation of strategic initiatives, including partnerships, investments, and M&A opportunities.

Oversee cash flow forecasting and collaborate with the accounting team on treasury and liquidity management.

Prepare and present financial insights, forecasts, and recommendations to the executive team and external stakeholders.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (required); MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

10+ years of progressive finance experience in growth-oriented, operationally complex environments.

Aviation industry experience required, with a strong preference for backgrounds in maintenance and repair operations (MRO).

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, especially in lean team settings.

Expertise in financial modeling, FP&A, and business partnership across cross-functional teams.

Self-starter with a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative leadership.
