Company Overview:
We are partnering with a growing legal technology & services company that is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Human Resources. This role is ideal for a high-level HR generalist with a hands-on approach who can balance both strategic and tactical responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with the executive team to drive organizational growth and enhance employee engagement across the company. Experience in Talent Acquisition and hiring sales representatives, as well as technology personnel, is key to supporting the company’s continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, retention, evaluation, and remediation initiatives to attract and retain top talent, with a focus on hiring sales representatives.
- Develop and execute strategies for the Talent Acquisition process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top-performing employees.
- Oversee new hire screening and onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions, especially in sales and revenue-generating roles.
- Administer payroll management, including handling the online payroll system, processing bi-weekly payroll, and providing management reports, metrics, and analysis.
- Manage benefits administration (401K, profit sharing, health & dental insurance, life insurance) to offer competitive packages that attract and retain employees.
- Continuously evaluate and update personnel policies, procedures, and compensation plans to ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Lead the compensation and performance review process, ensuring fairness and consistency across departments.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, unemployment claims, and auto accident reporting processes to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing HR guidance to support the company’s overall goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven success in Talent Acquisition, with a strong focus on hiring sales representatives and key roles within growing organizations.
- Hands-on leadership experience, balancing day-to-day HR operations with strategic planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in payroll administration and system management.
- 10+ years of HR experience, ideally in a leadership capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Multi-site HR management experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
