We are partnering with a rapidly growing, multi-site specialty dental healthcare provider backed by a major Private Equity group. Headquartered on the South Central, this organization is scaling quickly through both organic growth and acquisition, and is seeking a dynamic SVP of Human Resources to build and lead a high-impact HR function from the ground up.
This is a newly created role on the executive team, ideal for a strategic HR leader who is also hands-on, agile, and ready to shape culture, define structure, and deliver scalable people solutions in a complex, distributed, and high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a long-term HR roadmap aligned with company growth objectives and operational priorities.

Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing insights that connect business goals with talent strategy.
Culture & Change Management

Champion a unified company culture across all locations, embedding values and behaviors that reflect our mission and vision.

Lead organizational change efforts, acting as a visible culture ambassador during transformation initiatives.
M&A Integration

Oversee all HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including organizational design, talent assessment, policy integration, and cultural alignment.

Ensure smooth, scalable post-close integration of people operations, systems, and processes.
Talent Strategy & Organizational Development

Lead holistic talent strategies focused on recruitment, employee development, engagement, and retention.

Promote a high-performance, growth-oriented culture that enables long-term scale.
People Operations

Direct all core HR functions including compensation, benefits, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and learning.

Standardize and scale HR practices across a multi-location, multi-state environment.
Field Support & Multi-State Compliance

Partner with clinic and field leadership to provide tailored HR support across TX, CO, NM, OK, KS, and AZ.

Ensure compliance with varying state labor laws, with a focus on the South Central U.S.
Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed HR team.

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and alignment with business goals.

Empower HR leaders to deliver both strategic insight and hands-on support at the regional and local levels.
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including executive-level roles (VP/SVP) in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Experience in a Private Equity-backed or performance-driven organization strongly preferred.

Proven ability to lead HR for distributed, multi-site workforces, particularly in healthcare, dental, or clinical services.

Demonstrated success scaling HR infrastructure and leading complex organizational transformations.

Deep understanding of multi-state employment law and compliance requirements.

Track record of successfully managing M&A integrations from both cultural and operational perspectives.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) strongly preferred.
