Location: Texas (Travel Required)
We are partnering with a rapidly growing multi-site healthcare organization to identify a Vice President of Operations to lead their Texas region. This is a critical leadership role overseeing 20 clinical locations across the state, with full P&L responsibility and direct impact on both operational performance and growth strategy.
The organization is in an exciting period of expansion, and the VP of Operations will play a central role in leading integration efforts for new locations while continuing to drive excellence across existing sites. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing multi-site healthcare operations, a strong grasp of financial and operational levers, and the leadership skills to inspire a large, distributed team. Multi-site healthcare operations experience is required.
Core Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management

Lead and support a regional team consisting of 25 physician partners, 2 regional managers, and 20 practice managers within a structured hierarchy

Promote alignment between clinical and operational leadership to drive accountability and performance

Act as a cultural leader and coach to build and sustain high-performing teams across all locations
Operational Oversight

Manage daily operations across 20 healthcare facilities throughout Texas

Standardize and implement clinical and operational best practices consistently across the region

Partner with physician leadership to enhance patient access, service quality, and operational efficiency
Financial Leadership

Own full P&L responsibility for the Texas region

Lead financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management

Identify revenue growth and cost optimization opportunities to enhance profitability
Regional Growth & Integration

Lead operational execution for regional expansion, including the integration of new practices and sites

Oversee onboarding and alignment of teams, systems, and workflows post-acquisition

Develop scalable systems and infrastructure to support ongoing regional growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Impact

Collaborate closely with teams across finance, HR, marketing, compliance, and executive leadership

Contribute to company-wide initiatives and help shape long-term strategic plans
Candidate Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

At least 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, ideally dental, including 5+ years in senior leadership

Demonstrated success managing the P&L for a multi-site region

Strong leadership experience with both clinical and administrative teams

Expertise in integration and operational alignment in a scaling healthcare environment

Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Texas
