Vice President of Sales – Heavy Equipment Rental
The private equity backers of a dynamic heavy equipment rental business have asked hireneXus to help them find a sales leader. The group does over $120MM annually in revenue, and has extensive growth plans. Founder led to this point in their growth, that leader led all sales and operations. Moving forward the team of 8-10 sales people need a leader to provide structure, tactical support, and strategic guidance.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all sales team members and oversee sales processes.
• Set sales goals and quotas to drive team performance.
• Create and manage the sales department budget.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and comprehensive reports.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team for optimal performance.
• Develop ancillary services into core revenue-generating offerings.
• Oversee the CRM system (Salesforce) and ensure its effective adoption.
• Take full responsibility for the corporate marketing plan and its execution.
• Lead generation and distribution management.
• Collaborate with functional leaders and staff to advance corporate goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
Requirements:
• 10 years of experience in heavy equipment rental sales or a similar industry.
• 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Ability to work regularly in the office.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically by car and plane.
