HireneXus has partnered with a clinical solutions company that provides clinical trial and laboratory supply chain services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, contract research organizations (CROs), and diagnostic laboratories to add a Workday HCM Manager to their HR team.
Job Summary:
The Workday HCM Manager will be responsible for participating in Workday implementation, leading ongoing enhancements and optimizing our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR technology, extensive experience with Workday HCM, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive HR process improvements and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Learning, Absence, and Time Tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday HCM-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to HR and business users.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and enhancement of the Workday HCM system, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
- Conduct regular system audits and data validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for end-users to promote effective utilization of the Workday HCM system.
- Stay up-to-date with Workday releases, enhancements, and best practices, and recommend and implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Lead and mentor a team of Workday HCM analysts and administrators as the company grows, ensuring successful project delivery and operational excellence.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services and solutions.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Workday HCM processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Guide internal clients through project phases, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Provide expert advice on best practices for Workday HCM configuration and implementation.
- Ensure successful delivery of projects by managing resources, timelines, and project scope.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Workday HCM, including hands-on configuration and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
- Proven experience leading Workday HCM projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Workday certification(s) in HCM or other relevant modules is preferred.
- Experience leading Workday implementation projects, particularly within the pharmaceutical/life sciences sector, is a plus.
