Director of Marketing / Product Marketing International

I am working with a growing medical device organization that is currently seeking a Director of Marketing / Product Marketing. This is an established organization that is in growth mode and looking for an experienced marketing professional that has experience in setting strategy both on the traditional marketing side of the business, but also experienced in Product Marketing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experienced in launching products in the US market along with the ability to develop sustaining marketing efforts
  • Master deep customer knowledge through market research, segmentation analysis and customer interviews and utilize it on the go-to-market strategy.
  • Craft product positioning and messaging that communicates a differentiated story for products.
  • Develop core marketing content—from product packaging and presentation to published articles—that tell a compelling, consistent story based on core messaging and positioning.
  • Work closely with R&D
  • A highly motivated, proactive individual that can work in fast-paced environments with the ability to pivot quickly
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills, Well-spoken and articulate with the ability to work at all levels in the organization.

Day-to-Day

  • Responsible to create & develop product positioning, messaging and outbound marketing activities for product launches
  • Develop and update competitive analysis and market insights
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to employees in your reporting chain utilizing best practices as a people manager and organizational leader.
  • Collaborate to develop product launch and sustaining marketing assets
  • Work to improve product roadmap
  • Interact with sales and marketing teams to influence product strategy and direction. Understand industry solutions\' building blocks and derive competitive proposals.

Requirements:

Education & Experience• B.S. Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. MBA a plus

  • 5+ years of consumer technology product marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling product messaging and translate technology features into business benefits.
  • Must have a comparative knowledge of product creation
  • International Experience required
  • Possess a solid understanding of competitive and market dynamics that drive pricing, feature prioritization, product level messaging and positioning
  • Please note, this is not a remote position
