Chief Operating Officer



  • Strategic Planning. Work in collaboration with the CEO to design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for the company, resulting in comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
  • Financial Performance. Collaboration in development and implementation of company-wide budget. The COO will manage existing network and staff to an aligned goal of profitability growth. This will include redefining strategic and tactical initiatives for corporate and facility-level deliverables.
  • Manager Development. Our growth trajectory indicates rapid deployment of qualified managers. The COO will deliver on manager development programs to improve performance of current staff, while eliminating non-performing personnel, and adding “A” players within budget.
  • Operational Results. Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.) Understanding, tracking, and improving Key Performance indicators are vital to the COO’s success and the success of his organization. KPIs include operating efficiencies, financial performance, safety, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, product quality, and adherence to operating procedures. Lead and mentor employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Reporting/Communication. Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Business Relationships. Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.) Manage relationships with partners/vendors.
  • Corporate Culture. One of our company’s major strengths is our culture. Culture is so important to us that we carry a company branded culture card with us at all times. We display this culture initiative throughout our plants and offices. It is the COO’s responsibility to embrace the corporate culture and establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
  • Human Resources. Another major strength is our people. Our business model requires an extremely flexible and agile workforce that delivers perfect service at the lowest possible cost. This workforce will consist of permanent employees, part-time employees, seasonal employees, contractors, and temporary employees of varying degrees of skills and education. It is the responsibility of the COO to recruit, train, and manage this diverse, flexible workforce.
  • Customer Relationship Management. Our operations are our best sales people. We expect the COO to not only strengthen existing relationships, but also cultivate relationships of his own. In addition, we expect the COO to work with all the operation to improve on customer relationships.
  • Cost Control. With full P&L responsibility of the operation, the COO must constantly work with the General Managers of each facility to manage costs.
  • Quality Assurance. It is our position that the products we deliver and the data we provide can be perfect in our customer’s eyes. Through the quality department, the COO is responsible for ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer requirements and that all data is accurate and timely.
  • Community Relations/Giving Back. Assist CEO in fundraising ventures. Be a team player/leader in designing, establishing, building and directing fundraising initiatives.


  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role, 7+ years’ experience, demonstrated through competency in strategic planning and business development, internally and externally.
  • Strong aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • Understanding/knowledge of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, IT, etc.…
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operational metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
