Customer Service Representative Job Posting

The Customer Service Representative is a critical member of the team who facilitates day-to-day customer support operations. This person serves customers by providing product and service information, using in-depth knowledge of company products and procedures. This individual communicates effectively with team members within the customer service department and other areas, as needed. This person works well in a team environment and can multi-task efficiently, providing timely, excellent customer service.


Essential functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Process customer orders, changes, and returns.
  • Process payments.
  • Review customer accounts.
  • Fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Partners with the sales team and other departments, as needed.
  • Works closely with the credit department to resolve disputed credit terms.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working in a fast pace environment
  • Previous experience with product pricing and applying percentage discounts
  • Customer relations
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail and is a team player
  • change the qualifications to having some basic account skills to facilitate with the pricing of order.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Customer service experience, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
