This individual’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Actively supports safety initiatives in the workplace.
Conducts competitive bid processes (in-house and with third-party assistance) including RFP, RFx creation, supplier evaluation, selection, contract negotiations and ongoing supplier management and administration.
Coordinates vendor transitions including, implementation plan development and execution.
Creates program launch strategies and assists with training initiatives as required.
Serves as a liaison in the development of e-procurement catalog content and utilization.
Conducts regular supplier business reviews.
Monitors Procurement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and tracks contract compliance.
Fosters and maintains strong working relationships with other internal Procurement work streams, Business Units stakeholders and suppliers as part of the overall contract management lifecycle process and coordinates efforts across all BUs and locations.
Provides coordination assistance at the Group level on global procurement opportunities and implements best practices as required.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing supply chain and procurement or any combination of relevant education and experience.
Successful experience conducting purchasing activities for a multi-site company.
Must have strong project management and prioritization skills.
Must have solid knowledge and be able to support Procure 2 Pay processes.
Must be proficient in SAP and have a working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills.
Travel up to 25% as deemed necessary.
Experience implementing category sourcing plans such as: MRO/Consumables, Facilities/Equipment, Business Services and Logistics, preferred.
