Sr. Manager, eCommerce Interactive Web Content

 

Job Scope:

 

As a direct report to the SVP & General Manager, the Sr. Group Manager, eCommerce Interactive Web Content will be responsible for web maintenance, digital marketing, data management, brand consistency and user experience for company properties. As the group manager of the content and design team, you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring the teams and ensuring proper strategic focus, timely execution, and thorough measurement of programs.

 

This position will collaborate across marketing channels and departments to build growth strategies for the brand. This individual is an expert in all things related to website and channel optimization, brand consistency, website testing strategy, and maintains up-to-date on SEO, social, and web content best practices.

 

Your success will be measured on 1) profitable sales growth of the brand and website 2) coaching, mentoring, and grooming the team for their own success.

Responsibilities

 

  • The direction of web development & maintenance, digital marketing, data management, brand consistency and user experience for select company properties.
  • Manage and direct; promotional calendar, new product set-up, image optimization, pricing updates, source code changes, and day-to-day content maintenance and updates.
  • Creative Direction of brand maintenance and enhancements for online B2B and B2C ECommerce Websites
  • Liaison between departments, communicating our vision and recommendations to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create, implement and analyze the success of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Establish new initiatives to increase conversion on site
  • Analyze site data and user behavior using Omniture and Google Analytics to find new ways to increase conversion, brand awareness, and ROI.
  • Communicate and work with internal and external web programmers to improve website functionality, troubleshoot problems and enhanced customer experience. Including coordination of monthly coding deployments across all company brands
  • Develop, review and continuously improve how we test and measure web content driving improved conversion rates
  • Keeps stakeholders informed by compiling, analyzing, and reporting marketing results; forwarding plan projections and updates
  • Navigate priorities and drive a coherent plan with demonstrable results in a timely manner
  • Expand eCommerce product databases and create valuable content for blogs, social media, and other customer outreach channels
  • Thorough knowledge of technical SEO.

Qualifications:

Skills Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 5 years working in graphic design, UI/UX, and web design
  • A minimum of 3 years managing the digital design, project management, and developer teams; leading and motivating a team of creative professionals and coordinating multiple project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Adobe programs for optimizing images, graphics and other docs for web use (GIF, JPG, PDF)
  • A core understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Ability to manage and execute large projects; meet tight deadlines on short notice, and multi-task
  • Possess strong writing and editing skills and understand appropriate grammar, spelling and punctuation rules
  • Must have digital art direction experience
  • Highly analytical, experience managing sales and margin goals
  • SQL experience nice to have but not required
