Director of Project Management


The Director of Project Management is responsible for driving a variety of fast-paced strategic initiatives related to the company’s aggressive expansion strategy. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying and prioritizing sites for de novo launches, managing efficient launch processes including facility renovations or relocations, collaborating and building consensus with clinical leaders, coordinating cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate de novo sites into the clinical and corporate infrastructure, and other special projects

This role will report directly to the COO.


  • Manage multiple projects and drive fast-paced execution
  • Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to company growing rapidly through de novos and acquisitions
  • Establish pipeline of de novo locations that reflects priorities of the broader organization
  • Responsible for managing the overall planning, execution and success of de novo launches, which includes:
  • Defining the timeline, milestones, budget, resource plan, and success metrics
  • Facilitating day-to-day coordination, steering committee meetings, and communication of roles and responsibilities to key functional leaders
  • Monitoring project health through the effective use of project dashboards
  • Driving escalation and resolution of critical project related issues that would impact launch live date
  • Document and communicate key learnings, positive and negative, from de novo launches to executive management team
  • Support execution of Company’s acquisition strategy, including prospecting acquisition targets and supporting diligence workstreams
  • Assist with execution of various special operational projects, facility renovations, relocations, and footprint planning


  • 5 - 7 years experience in various aspects of project/program/integration management
  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent education / work experience
  • MBA or masters preferred; PMP preferred
  • Proven ability to build and lead diverse and distributed teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple locations
  • Experience developing workplans, project scopes, pricing estimates, and presentations to assist in project planning and execution
  • Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change
  • Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision
  • Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations
  • Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills
  • Effective consultative and influencing approach
  • Ability to enact change quickly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Willingness to travel (60% – 80%)
  • Competent in MS Office Suite and PMO tools such as SmartSheets, MS Project, Planview, Clarity
