Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the financial analyst will be key to analyzing various aspects of the business to help guide the operational and strategic direction of the company, developing accurate forecasts, and preparing periodic reports to senior management and the Board of Directors. In addition, the analyst will be involved in supporting an active acquisition strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role you will:

  • Undertake financial analysis of various aspects of the business that may include forecasts for revenue, expenses, and operating metrics; include cash flow and balance sheet forecasts, financing and acquisition support, new operations analysis, and analyzing various aspects of the business
  • Quickly understand financial data and develop models in Excel to analyze, interpret and report the information that draws a concise and logical conclusion
  • Assist in annual budgeting and regular forecasting with the ability to develop and populate financial models
  • Must have the ability to take a hands-on approach to using the Company software applications such as the ERP, CRM, clinical EHR data systems, BI and other tools
  • Use astute financial analysis techniques to provide practical proposals to influence business results
  • Provide ad-hoc financial performance analyses
  • Prepare various financial reports on monthly and quarterly basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master’s degree preferable
  • 3-5 years financial planning, analysis and reporting experience
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel; advanced skills with MS PowerPoint and Word
  • Expertise with financial modeling and forecasting
  • Experience working directly with senior management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving and organizational skills required
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion with confidential information are required
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Must be a self-starter and independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills a must, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy, accountability and confidentiality
  • Energy and passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
