Chief Quality Officer

Location: Eastern TX

Hospital:
  • 200+ Bed Short-Term Acute Care Hospital
  • Part of a larger healthcare system
  • Recognized for Coronary Intervention Excellence Award and America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Vascular Surgery Award
Chief Quality Officer Responsibilities:
  • Planning, administration, and monitoring of consistent readiness of all quality management, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes.
  • Oversee and coordinate all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies.
  • Identifies and prioritizes opportunities for improvement, facilitates interdisciplinary teams in developing action plans, achieves measurable results, monitors results to ensure sustained improvements, and develops and presents meaningful reports.
  • Collaborates with other members of the quality team. 24-hour oversight.
Chief Quality Officer Qualifications:
  • BSN
  • Three Plus (3+) years’ experience in an acute care facility
  • Two plus (2+) years’ experience in Quality Management
  • Must have coordinated Joint Commission preparation and participated in State & CMS surveys within past three years
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general hospital operations, Joint Commission (JC), OSHA, Medicare COP, and state requirements
  • Texas RN License or eligible
