Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
The Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions will be a crucial role supporting and managing the execution of the company’s acquisitions/partnerships/deals and overall growth strategy. The Manager will be directly involved in developing and managing a robust pipeline of deals across North America, target company analysis/financial modeling, managing the due diligence process and ultimately execution (including negotiation of key terms). The Manager will also be involved in assisting other areas of the business, including financial planning and analysis , post-close integration and strategic growth initiatives.


· Own all deal-related analyses such as target financial analysis (standalone and building pro forma model) and drafting investment memorandums

· Assist in developing and maintaining a robust target pipeline through banker coordination, industry research, select outreach, and screening of inbound leads

· Coordinate internal and external teams to execute due diligence of targets across all business and functional areas, including financial, tax, HR, Insurance and legal

· Manage multiple deal processes and drive fast-paced execution

· Develop and prepare board level and company presentations related to strategy and M&A

· Assist with certain ad hoc strategic planning and finance projects / initiatives as directed by CGO

· Serve as a key member of the M&A team that sets the strategic direction and regularly interacts with other key members of the management team

· Interact frequently with the Executive Leadership Team, and the PE firm on all deal related matters and certain strategic finance matters


· 2-5 years of total work experience in Private Equity / Corporate M&A / Investment Banking / Transaction Advisory

· Experience managing and working with third party advisors, including financial advisors, accounting firms, law firms and other consultants and advisors and ability to lead a deal process from initial screening of the opportunity to close of a transaction

· Financial modeling & analysis

· Strong excel and PPT skills

· Strong written and oral presentation skills; ability to present concisely and with detail

· Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to co-workers and targets with low familiarity of the M&A process / financial terms

· Excellent project management skills; must be able to manage and prioritize multiple business objectives and projects with the proper sense of urgency

· Strong leadership and strategic problem-solving skills

· Ability to work in an autonomous, fast-moving environment
