Applications typically involve low-power / battery-powered microprocessor-based electronics. The role supports product sustainment, including obsolescence-driven changes and developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing processes and procedures. This includes driving continuous improvement efforts in various processes while focusing on safety, quality, and cost.

This role is the technical leader supporting electronic manufacturing and supply chain sustainment, focusing on driving resolution on production issues, addressing sustaining engineering efforts, and leading value analysis/value engineering efforts. This will include End of Life Components, VAVE Activities, Reliability Testing, Failure Root Cause Analysis, and Quality Corrective Actions. To be successful in this role, you must have a broad working knowledge of Circuits, PCB design, layout, and manufacturing processes and understand PCB assembly line operation, optimization, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with Cross-Functional hardware and software Teams for exceptional quality, low cost, and efficient production .
